We started from the foundation and went up: foundation, framing, siding, windows, doors and stamped concrete sidewalk. We needed to add new support footings under the house to support the load of new beams that would be put in place of removed walls. We also added a coffered ceiling to support the upper floor, an unexpected but necessary addition to the project. When we finished framing the support structure, we noticed that the beams were not centered to the room and only went one direction. We changed our plans and added additional support; the result was amazing!
